Creative Explorations

TRACES

During my Visual Arts Foundation Year at Middlesex University from 2017-18, I developed a project called 'Traces' in which I documented anything I saw in the everyday that held some sort of trace of mark-making. Traces of humanity, and of nature. Prints are available to order as a series or as individual pieces.

BLUE BLOBS

As part of an exploration within the medium of printmaking in 2017, I produced imagery from a piece made from plastic, ink, and hot glue. I liked these biological-like images so much that I used them to create a concertina book which I sewed together by hand. Prints are available to order as a series or as individual pieces.

OCEAN WASTE

To culminate my Traces project in 2018, I created a two-part artistic representation of ocean waste including a sort of social experiment where strangers react to the art that brings the issue and the trash back to where they came from - humanity.

GANN ACADEMY MURAL

As part of a six-week long senior capstone project in 2017, I designed, planned, and painted a 40ft x 8ft mural in the science wing of Gann Academy in Waltham, Massachusetts. I incorporated many different symbols representing the science curriculum, Jewish life, and history of the school.
